JAM Project

  • Jan dhan Yojana-Aadhaar-Mobile linking project for direct benefits transfer.
  • Issuance of rupay Kisan credit cards

e-NAM

  • Pan-India electronic trading portal which networks the existing APMC mandis to create a unified national market for agricultural commodities.
  • Single window service for all APMC related information and services.

NCDEX

  • NCDEX, an agriculture-focused commodity futures exchange, has got 8,000 farmers to trade on the platform through four farmer producer companies (FPC) in last one year.
  • NCDEX provided the much-needed incentive for investing in production, it provides market structure for farmers.

Kisan-Suvidha App

  • The app has a simple interface and provides information on five critical parameters weather, input dealers, market price, plant protection and expert advisories.
  • An additional tab directly connects the farmer with the Kisan call centre where technical graduates answer their queries.

m-Kisan

  • It is maintained by Department of Agriculture & Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture,
  • It is a SMS Portal for farmers enables all central and State government organizations in agriculture and allied sectors.
  • It gives information/services/advisories to farmers by SMS in their language, preference of agricultural practices and location.

Remote sensing and drone technology

  • Remote Sensing & GIS can be used for monitoring the crops and estimating the zones during natural calamities.
  • Drone technology can be used for sample data collection and pest detections.
  • PMFBY encourages use of such technology

Bankable farmer initiative

  • An African model, where farmers will have a profile and all details of their credibility and repaying capability will be monitored India is planning for such initiative.

Soil health cards

  • Maintaining soil related details through a dedicated portal.
