The Global Energy Architecture Performance Index Report 2017 ranks 127 countries on their ability to deliver secure, affordable, sustainable energy. It is a composite index developed by WEF in collaboration with Accenture Strategy. India rank 87th in the index.

Forum for India-Pacific Islands cooperation (FIPIC) is a multinational grouping developed in 2014 for cooperation between India and 14 Pacific Islands nations which include Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.

The Arctic Council is a high-level intergovernmental forum which addresses issues faced by the Arctic governments and people living in the Arctic region. The members includes USA, Canada, Russia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. India has Observer status.

The index is computed by Central Statistical Organisation, Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation. This index is an important economic indicator and is widely considered as a barometer of inflation, a tool for monitoring price stability and as a deflator in national accounts. Consumer price index is used as a measure of inflation in around 157 countries. The dearness allowance of Government employees and wage contracts between labour and employer is based on this index.

The Act defines a child as any person below eighteen years of age.

Comprehensive, integrated border management system (IBMS) is part of the Indian government’s vision to seal the vulnerable borders along Pakistan and Bangladesh completely. This project will make use of technical surveillance and alarm systems especially in steep terrain where physical fencing is not an option. The pilot phase has been rolled out on a 55 km stretch in Dhubri, Assam.
